I think most of us had it at some point. A moment in which we felt sad about our art. It might have been a full developed artblock, or just a small moment of hopelessness, perhaps questioning our artistic career, asking yourself "Why did I actually start doing this?". Over the years, I've had many moments like that. Most of them triggered by another failed drawing, a total lack of inspiration (while I needed to get creative work done --nothing more annoying than that!), or another harsh critique that was just a bit too much to handle, at that particular moment. In a nutshell: -Smile. Even if you don’t love yourself, others will start to. Just takes a smile -Laugh! Make jokes even if they’re awful. Everyone loves good jokes, but bad jokes are okay even if people laugh at how awful they are or stare at you like you have two heads -Stay positive! You Should Have Known

To You:     I've been listening to Taylor Swift's album 'Speak Now' on repeat. One song in particular. "Sparks Fly." Remember? We used to listen to it all the time. You would complain, but I knew you never really meant it. It was the song that held so much meaning for us. And you used to sing "You And Me" by Lifehouse to me. I still can't listen to that song without remembering. I guess I'll always remember, though. You can't have what we did and not remember. But that's not what I wanted to think about.
